Stage design example: Frame sail at lecture event
In this project, a lecture by Nobel Prize winner Professor Jody Williams in Mönchengladbach was accompanied by two airformance frames. Simple, restrained, multilayered and yet expressive.
The two-layer sail structure spans black aluminium frames. One frame is 3 x 4m and is flown at two points when hung vertically. Spacers between the sails create a 3D effect. Interesting shadow plays are created on the light-friendly stretch fabric B1.
