Pixel stage design at award ceremony

The best athletes in Nort-Rhine-Westfalia are honoured at the Felix Award. At the atmospheric award ceremony 2017 in Düsseldorf, airformance pixels celebrated their premiere. The flying tile system made of aluminium frames covered with white stretch fabric B1 was part of the stage design. In columns, pixels alternated with LED strips. The installation went very quickly. The assembly-width objects were hung from the transport trolley directly into the truss rig.

The special feature of the Pixel system are profiles that push the fabric out of the surface. They can be clamped horizontally or vertically at any point in the surfaces. The Felix Award focused on symmetry, so the profiles formed distinctive vertical lines that continued from pixel to pixel.
