Waben (honeycombs) for The Human League
Stage design example: Waben on European Tour with The Human League
One would think that light aluminium constructions and covers made of stretch fabric B1 would be sensitive. In this project, the 2 x 2 m honeycombs proved once again how flexible, robust and chic these objects are.
The stage set consisted of several levels. Slanted honeycombs connected the different heights. With 18 honeycombs in their luggage, the team of The Human League was able to flexibly respond to the room dimensions of the various locations. At a concert in the Royal Albert Hall (London), time-honored architecture met modern set design.
